interestingly it was under the NDC/MAHAMA regime, which first, in a deliberate act of inflicting hardship on the young Ghanaian students, billed each and every tertiary education student with water and electricity fees. Yes, the NDC and Mahama were the first to make tertiary students pay electricity and water Bills.

However, just this morning, the NDC and Mahama have surprisingly, departed from their fanciful promise of absorbing 50% of all tertiary education fees to embrace a phantom 100% absorption of tertiary education fees.

The NDC/MAHAMA’s over-imaginative story is coming on the heels of the Big Announcement set to be made today by the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat, which has, under this regime of NPP and President Akufo-Addo, decentralized its grant of scholarships to the district level.

It bears repeating that, the two contenders have served as Presidents before, and thus, it matters that, the elections remain a battle of RECORDS.

It is a battle between NDC and Mahama which promised One time Premium Health Insurance in 2008 but failed woefully to deliver against NPP and President Akufo-Addo which promised and delivered Free SHS. It is a battle between NPP and President Akufo-Addo which promised and delivered Teachers/ Nursing trainees allowances against Mahama who promised to build a $10billion Hope City but failed to deliver.

The Ghanaian people know better. The Ghanaian people do not have short memories.

The Ghanaian people are voting to elect the NPP and President Akufo-Addo to secure and protect Ghana’s future.
