TTAG APPEALS TO AUGUSTINE APPIAH FOR AN OUT OF COURT SETTLEMENT

Following the wrongful impeachment of the President of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana in Berekum College of Education during a standing emergency Congress, the President, Mr. Augustine Appiah and his legal counsel sorted from the High Court in kumasi, for a judicial review of orders in the nature of certiorari and prohibition under order 55 of C.I 47.

In the early morning on Wednesday 2nd December, 2020 which is the scheduled date for the hearing, representatives who came on behalf of TTAG pleaded that the matter be settled out of court jurisdiction.
The legal counsel of the applicant has, upon the permission of the court given TTAG an automatum to settle the matter with Augustine Appiah on some undisclosed conditions.

We await the meeting between TTAG and Augustine Appiah to know the fallout of the meeting.

Meanwhile, the National Coordinator and the Secretary are still making the claim that TTAG has not been served officially with any writ.

Court will, after the meeting, open for a hearing.
